Reasonable Hotel to stay for short sightseeing visits

We had visited as a group of family members taking 2 rooms. We had visited during days when the hotel had relatively lesser occupancy i believe. Location: The hotel is in a very good location just near the backwaters & they have their own boat jetty accessible right from the reception using a short route. Boat ride was given a standard discount i presume once they understood we were from the hotel. Parking seems adequate but might be full during peak season. Staff Support: The staff were very cooperative. The made the check-in quick & stay at hotel pleasant. The first room provided did not have good a\c & on raising we were provided a alternate room immediately (lucky that we went during off-season possibly). Restaurant: Lunch was average & quite expensive for the food provided that we decided to walk over to smaller restaurants which were about 300m away from the hotel for dinner. There are a few options nearby but the ones at junction were adequate. Overall: This is good hotel for 1 or 2 days if you may not be spending too much time in the hotel & are visiting the surrounding areas. It has a good location, fulfils basic needs & nearby restaurants about 300m away which is not far.

This hotel got awesome backwater view. You can enjoy with large group,friends and family. They got boat also, which will take you across the Poovar Island. You need to pay amount. Nice experience. You will love this place.

Dear all, please find my reviews...there is no basic amenties available in hotel...every thing u have to ask or call reception.no friendly environment....I have changed totally 4 rooms till night 11pm because of Air-conditioning issue...none of the rooms in the first floor 102,107,109,110 did not have good AC...At around 11 pm night at last changed to 102...that was also not having that much cooling .Front office manager also agreed with AC issue in whole hotel.Will any one accept if no ac cooling in room in this hot summer...I have no other option because paid advance money...Even for bath soap I called to get soap...guys we are paying our hard earned money but u will not be happy with the service. Then main thing is atlast they gave 102 room and provided with a very old torn dirt bedspread covered blanket.They didn't provide breakfast. So take care...

This is the hotel you should be staying at when you are visiting poovar .Its in the 15 km range of kovlam.This hotel is a well maintained property and very peaceful for your holidays.I visited here during March 2017 for one of my friends wedding and i enjoyed my stay here.

Rooms are but beware of closet and commode and other fittings. My wife met an accident in the bath room. She went for toilet . The moment she sat on the closet it crashed down and she had a fall on the floor spraining her hand. Luckily the the broken pieces of porcelain pieces did I not pierced her body. Otherwise it would have been a disaster as she is aged 66 and diabetic.hotel manger was indifferent He changed us to other room where the ac was not working. They charge heavily for boating. Do not use hotel boat. Bargain directly with boatman. Food was ok.
